Admission
Guidelines

Admissions are open to both students of Indian nationalities and other nationalities, depending on the availability of seats. All students are required to study curriculum prescribed by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) India.

The admission process involves the following steps:

1. Register your ward’s name in the admission office OR by sending an email request to                       admission@isnizwa.org

2. Parents will be invited by the admission department for completing the admission procedures as per the rules. (Parents will be required to visit the admission office with hardcopies/originals of supporting documents once they receive the invitation from the admission department.)

3. Parents may collect the admission form from the admission office.

4. Verification of the admission documents followed by the payments of required fees at the “Fee Counter”.

Note: 

* Admission will not be granted if any of the documents is missing.

* For all matters related to admission, the decision of Principal and Management shall be final.

* Minimum Age: LKG – 3 years on 1 April, UKG – 4 years on 1 April and Class 1 – 5 years on 1 April of the academic year in which admission is sought.

The following are the documents to be submitted at the time of admission :

For Indians:

a. Copy of Birth Certificate if the child joins school for the first time.

b. Copy of valid Passport of father, mother and child. (first page, valid Visa page in the Passport/ E-visa copy and last/ address page).

c. Original of Transfer Certificate (T. C.) from previous school. TC has to be countersigned by DEO (District Educational Officer) if transferred from a school other than Schools affiliated to CBSE (For admissions to Class-II onwards).

d. Copy of Mark - lists/ Report Card of previous academic year's examinations (For admissions to Class-II onwards).

e. Two photographs (PP size) of child.

f. Copy of valid Resident Card of Parents and student. Admission will be final only after the submission of Resident Card of the student.

g. Copy of the latest Electricity bill paid for the accommodation (flat/villa).

h. Valid attested proof of custodianship of child in case of divorced/ expired parent.

i. Attested death certificate in case of expired parents.

j. Valid attested proof of marriage in case the parent has married again.

k. Proof of Child’s Blood group (Hard copy).

l. Copy of the child's immunization record/vaccination card (For admissions to LKG, UKG & Class 1 only).

For Non- Indians:

a. Copy of Birth Certificate if the child joins school for the first time.

b. Original hard copy of NOC (No Objection Certificate) from concerned Embassy to take admission in ISN and study Indian CBSE curriculum.

c. Undertaking on CBSE curriculum/ examination/ etc. rules and regulations duly signed by the parent and two witnesses along with copies of the resident cards of the witnesses. (From is available in school office)

d. Copy of valid Passport of Parents and child. (first page, valid Visa page in the Passport/ E-Visa copy and last/ address page).

e. Original of Transfer Certificate from the previous school ( For admission to class - II onwards).

f. Copy of Mark-lists/ Report Card of previous academic year's examinations (For admissions to Class-II onwards).

g. Two photographs (PP size) of child.

h. Copy of valid Resident Card of Parents and student.

i. Copy of the latest Electricity bill paid for the accommodation (flat/villa).

j. Valid attested proof of custodianship of child in case of divorced/ expired parent.

k. Attested death certificate in case of expired parents.

l. Valid attested proof of marriage in case the parent has married again.

m. Proof of Child’s Blood group (Hard copy).

n. Copy of the child's immunization record/ vaccination card (For LKG, UKG & Class 1 only)

7. Admission is valid only if the required fee is paid in full by due date along with the necessary Documents/ Certificates as mentioned above and on the completion of all formalities.

For Direct Admissions to classes X & XII

(Along with the documents and details given above, the following documents are also to be submitted)

a. an affidavit by the parent giving valid reasons for the change of school.

b. Copy of CBSE class IX or XI registration card.

c. Copy of request letter submitted to the principal of the previous school to delete the students name from their school's student list on the CBSE website's student registration portal.

d. A request letter from the parent if the student has to change his/ her previous year's chosen subject combinations in ISN due to non-availability of such subjects in ISN.

e. Payment of direct admission fee whenever it's required by the CBSE..

Resources

Various teaching aids like audio visuals, specimens etc. are used in the day to day classroom teaching. Journals for all the subjects as well as around more than 1000 books are also available for reading in the library.
